Counter-Notification

  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification

Our Response Process

Upon Receiving a Valid DMCA Notice:

  1. We will promptly investigate the claim
  2. We may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
  3. We will notify the user who posted the material (if applicable)
  4. Repeat infringers may have their access terminated

Upon Receiving a Valid Counter-Notification:

  1. We will forward the counter-notification to the original complainant
  2. We may restore the removed material after 10-14 business days
  3. Unless the copyright owner files a court action against you

False Claims Warning

Important: Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that:

  • Material is infringing, or
  • Material was removed by mistake

May be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorney’s fees.
